GTA 6 Leaker Cyberleek Returns With 25-Minute "Extended Leek", but Outlets Say It May Show Dev Tools
Cyberleek's 25-minute GTA 6 'Extended Leek' may show dev tools like a tank spawn, so don't treat it as launch features. Spoiler-free, plus Rockstar's silence.

Updated October 9, 2026: added outlet reports that the footage appears to use developer tools, and checked again for a response from Rockstar or Take-Two.
Spoiler-free: this article contains no story details from the leak, and we won't link to it. If you want to start Grand Theft Auto VI fresh on November 19, be careful on social media.
The leaker known as Cyberleek is back. On Thursday, October 8, a video of about 25 minutes called "GTA 6: An Extended Leek" started spreading online. IGN, VGC, Dexerto, Kotaku, Dot Esports and GamesRadar+ all reported on it. The title mocks Rockstar's official "Extended Look" showcase from August 27.
Dexerto reports the upload was a ZIP file of more than 370MB. GamesRadar+ cites dataminer TexFunz2, who put it at 367MB. Cyberleek had been quiet since late August, after a run of leaked clips that began on August 18.
What outlets say is in it
We haven't watched the footage. Based on the reporting, it mixes gameplay and cutscenes. IGN and Kotaku warn that it contains story spoilers. VGC says it has seen the footage and that it "appears to be authentic," and adds that much of it features heavy nudity. Several outlets also report first-person driving.

Why it may not reflect the launch game
There's an important caveat. Several outlets point out that at one point in the video a tank appears out of nowhere. IGN says "what looks like a developer menu is used to spawn a tank, which you wouldn't expect would be possible in the launch version of the game." IGN suggests the nudity and first-person view could also have been turned on with dev tools. Dot Esports says the tank "indicates that Cyberleek has access to the debug menu." VGC is more cautious: it says it's "not clear whether this is a legitimate cheat code or whether the leaker has hacked this into their build."
So don't treat anything in this video as a confirmed launch feature. Rockstar has not confirmed a first-person mode for GTA VI. According to GamesRadar+, some people who have seen the game reported that it wouldn't have one at launch.
The video ends with a message asking for money for what Cyberleek calls a project that is "Not Rockstar related. Gaming related," according to VGC and IGN.
Has Rockstar or Take-Two responded?
No, not as of Friday morning, October 9. Dexerto and Dot Esports both said Rockstar had not addressed the new footage. Digital Citizen, which checked federal court records on October 9, found no new filings from Take-Two since August. Back then, Take-Two sought subpoenas against Microsoft, Discord, Google and X. Two were granted, for X and Discord. Rockstar's only public statement came in August, when it called the leaks "heartbreaking" for its team, as IGN reported.
We'll update this story if either company comments.
GTA 6 launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, 39 days from today.
