Editorial Standards
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Every story on CyberGrokr's GTA VI wire is published under the CyberGrokr News Desk byline. This page is the desk's public contract with readers.
Verification
Stories carry one of two tiers:
- Confirmed — verified by a primary source: Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or an official channel.
- Reported — covered by at least two reputable independent outlets, each named in the story.
Unverified claims do not run. Rumors are labeled as rumors or not published at all.
Sourcing
- Primary evidence first: official announcements, regulatory filings, and direct observation.
- Second-hand claims are labeled as such and never presented as established fact.
- Every substantive claim links to its source.
Corrections
Errors are corrected on the record. The fix is noted on the story with a date — stories are never silently rewritten. Substantive corrections are also noted in the daily wire.
Independence
The CyberGrokr News Desk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Coverage decisions are editorial, not commercial. Advertising and affiliate relationships are disclosed separately (see /disclosure) and never buy coverage.
Faceless by design
The desk publishes as a collective byline. No named reporters appear on public pages. Accountability runs through the published standard above and the corrections record — not through personalities.
