How to preload GTA 6 on PS5

1. Pre-order any edition of GTA 6 on the PlayStation Store. The game appears in your library immediately, with a countdown timer on its tile.
2. From Nov 12, open Game Library, select GTA VI, and choose Download. You can also select the countdown timer on the game's home-screen tile and confirm the content is checked for download.
3. To make it automatic, turn on auto-download for the pre-order (the checkbox on that same timer screen) and check Settings → Saved Data and Game/App Settings → Automatic Updates → Auto-Download is on.
