GTA 6 Gets a ¥100,000 Collector's Box in Japan

Capcom has announced a Japan-only GTA VI collector's box, "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection." It costs ¥99,980, doesn't include the game, and ships Nov 19.

The key details

• Price: ¥99,980 suggested retail (¥90,891 before tax).
• Game not included: Capcom's press release says twice that GTA VI is sold separately.
• Where to buy: in Japan, only on Capcom's official store, e-Capcom, in limited quantities.
• Pre-orders: open Oct 30, 2026, at 12:00 JST. That's 11:00 PM ET on Thursday, Oct 29.
• Release: Nov 19, 2026, the same day as the game.
• Age rating: Capcom says the box is an adult item for ages 18+, not a toy, because it has small parts and sharp points and edges.

What's in the box

The box is themed around Macca the Gator, a popular Leonida TV show in the game. Capcom lists 11 items:

1. A Macca the Gator figure with a twist-open base for stashing valuables
2. Matte black Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses and a Vice City pink GTA VI logo
3. A New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback hat with "Vice City Leonida" embroidery and appliqué
4. A Leonida Keys ripstop crossbody bag
5. A Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
6. A Vice City razor keychain
7. A Vice City Collection bar spoon
8. A Leonida Keys set of nine enamel pins in a tin
9. A pink Macca the Gator magnetic mirror that doubles as a tray
10. A Leonida Keys pack of nine vinyl stickers
11. A double-sided Leonida souvenir poster with a map on the front

What's actually new

The collection itself isn't new, and it isn't Japan-only. Rockstar announced "The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection" on Sep 24, 2026, for the US and Europe — $399.99 / €399.99, game not included, the same 11 items, shipping Nov 19 — and Japan wasn't on Rockstar's ship-to list. What's new is the Japan release: Capcom is bringing the box to Japan, selling it through e-Capcom at ¥99,980. Game*Spark's English-language report gives the same price, item count, e-Capcom exclusivity and dates. We aren't converting the yen price to dollars. GTA VI launches worldwide on Nov 19, 2026.
