Why this is legal (and payola isn't)

Payola means paying for airplay without telling the listener — that's the illegal part, and we never do it. A Sponsored Spin is advertising: Alexandra says on the air, every time, that the spin is sponsored and who sponsored it. Same rules as any radio ad — disclosed, logged, in writing.

Every paid spin is announced as sponsored on the air.
Every deal is in a written agreement (below) — no handshake spins.
Paid spins are logged separately from the editorial rotation.

What we need from you

Your track as WAV or MP3 (one music source at a time — no layered beds)
Artist name + one real fact about you or the song for Alexandra's intro
Your preferred streaming link (Spotify/Apple Music) — that's where your royalties actually come from

Honest note: station plays don't create Spotify or Apple royalties — only streams on those platforms do. Sponsored Spins buy you listeners and attention, not royalties. We put that in the agreement too.

1. WHAT YOU GET. CYBERGROKR AI RADIO will play the Track the
   guaranteed number of times inside the run dates.
2. DISCLOSURE. Every paid spin is introduced on air as sponsored,
   naming the Artist as sponsor (e.g. "This spin is sponsored by
   [Artist]"). Paid spins are logged separately from editorial rotation.
3. YOUR RIGHTS. You keep 100% of your master and publishing rights.
   This agreement is airplay only — no ownership, no exclusivity.
4. NO ROYALTY PROMISES. Station plays do not generate Spotify/Apple
   Music royalties. Only streams on those platforms do, paid through
   your distributor. We promise listeners, not royalties or charts.
5. PAYMENT. Due before the first spin (card via Stripe invoice).
   Any spins we fail to deliver are refunded pro-rata.
6. YOUR PROMOTION. If you post about your spins, tag them #ad —
   it's your sponsorship to disclose.
7. CONTENT. We can decline any track (hate, explicit without warning,
   uncleared samples). Declined tracks are refunded in full.

Is this payola?

No. Payola is paid airplay hidden from the listener. Sponsored Spins are announced as sponsored on the air, every spin, in writing — that's advertising, and it's how radio sponsorship has worked for decades.

Do I keep my rights?

Yes — 100%. This is airplay only. No ownership, no exclusivity, no publishing share.

Will this get me Spotify royalties?

Honestly: no. Station plays never become DSP royalties — only streams on Spotify/Apple Music do. What spins buy you is listeners hearing your song, often for the first time, with your streaming link one tap away on the station page.

What if my spins don't all run?

You only pay for spins that air. Anything we can't schedule is refunded.

Can I cancel?

Yes — before the run starts for a full refund; mid-run, undelivered spins are refunded pro-rata.
